About Elligators Silver Jewelry, Chris Bales

As a young girl growing up at the New Jersey shore, Chris Bales created her first handmade jewelry from  beach sea shells .  Inspired by her global travels  to Mexican silver art jewelry studios as well as artisan jewelry centers in Bali and India,  Chris launched her own business, Elligators Sterling Silver Jewelry in 1993.  She fueled her love of jewelry making  with continued studies of  silversmith techniques .

   As jewelry designer, Chris uses unique  colored gemstones, pearls, fossils, shells and beads  to create timeless  silver bracelets, silver pendants , silver necklaces and silver earrings.     Working with her  husband, Mark , the couple successfully market their  Mexican silver jewelry and designer gemstone art jewelry widely in America and overseas

The wholesale silver jewelry customer is the focus of their business.   Their loyal following includes galleries, museum gift shops, jewelry stores, specialty shops, and fashion boutiques.  "I am always rewarded when my  wholesale jewelry clients tell me how well they sell my one of a kind  art jewelry , " says Chris.

Chris and Mark located their Elligators  designer silver jewelry studio in southern Florida horse farm country. Their shared passion to create affordable handcrafted beautiful jewelry drives their company.  With her horses and white Shepard, Duke, in close view, the art jewelry designer transforms her favorite gemstones to create one of a kind silver bracelets, necklaces, earrings, pendants and pins  for all to enjoy!!
